Grading

No make up exam nor final. No late submission for class activities, homework, project

a. In-Person Class Exam(50%): EXAM1(Jan 11, 25%), EXAM2(Jan 18, 25%)

b. Classroom Activities(10%): Class activities including class attendance

c. Online Homework(10%): Weekly Myopenmath assignments including online quizzes

d. In-Person Final(Jan 23, 30%): Departmental Exam

I will replace only one of valid (no cheating) lowest scores of exams with the final score if the final score is higher.

Departmental 55 Rule for C or higher grade

To get C or higher grade, you need to satisfy both of two conditions.

The class average is 74 or higher. https://www.qcc.cuny.edu/registrar/gradingPolicy.html

The final score is 55 or higher.

For example, if your class average is 78 and the final score is 50, then you will get C- instead of C+.
