Calculator

You need a scientific calculator (No graphic calculator). By the department policy, you can not use calculators with CAS or wireless connections during a quiz and test.

• TI-30XIIS (Recommended)
• TI-30Xa (Not recommended)
• Casio fx 260 solar series
• Casio fx 300MS (Note: fx 300ES series is still prohibited!)
• A+ Homework Scientific 240 Function Calculator

Examples of prohibited calculators

• Ti-83/84 series
• Ti: Ti30XS MultiView, Ti-34 Multiview, Ti-36 series,Ti-89 or higher, Ti-Nspire series, Voyage series
• Casio: Algebra fx series, ClassPad series, fx 82 series, fx 100 series, fx 115 series, fx 300es series, fx 570 series, fx 991 series, fx 3650 series, fx 3950 series, fx 4500 series, fx 5800 series, fx 7400 series, fx 9750 or higher, CG series
• HP: HP 35 series or higher

For other calculators, ask the instructor whether your calculator is accepted or prohibited before a quiz and test.
